Hi there, I’m Penelope! Welcome to my portfolio. 👋
I’m a Melbourne-based multidisciplinary designer and marketing lead. For over 7 years I’ve worked where design meets strategy, across agencies, one of Australia’s big four banks and one of Melbourne’s biggest infrastructure projects.
A summer studying photography at the University of Barcelona in 2019 deepened a love of graphic design I’d always had. That led me to RMIT design classes, countless personal projects in Adobe, and eventually Shillington College, where I earned my Certificate IV in Design in 2021.
Since then, I’ve designed wayfinding and signage for the Metro Tunnel Project, delivered culturally led storytelling for the Victorian Government’s Deadly & Proud campaign, authored brand guidelines at ANZ, led a full rebrand for 2M Language Services, and worked as an agency’s sole designer while running national PR campaigns for Kids Helpline.
I take pride in a creative and playful approach, but never at the expense of purpose. The work has to look good and do its job. I’m happiest working with brands and causes I genuinely care about.
Outside of work, you’ll find me at the bouldering gym with friends, watching movies, riding my bike or behind a camera.

Every visual decision should be answerable. If you can’t explain why a typeface, a color, or a layout choice serves the brand’s purpose, it doesn’t belong there. Beauty is a result of clarity, not a substitute for it.
The best work happens when the client is a partner, not an approver. I build that into the process from day one, not because it’s easier, but because it produces better outcomes every single time.

A great logo is worthless without a system that scales it. Every project I deliver is built to grow: a cohesive set of decisions that works on a business card and a billboard, today and five years from now.
